Feliz Cumpleanos


Today this little person will be a year old. She is a very precious little person with a lot to give. I feel lucky to be able to watch her grow everyday. I know she is a little more emotional than my Ava, which will be interesting for us all. I'm not exactly the "sensitive" one in this family. :) But I will learn from her and hopefully she will be able to learn something from me. She is so happy. She's always been a happy baby. She loves to be around people. She has been a social person since she was a tiny person. She loves her 2nd mommy and this will be very difficult celebrating her first birthday without her here. :(
So today we will celebrate Lola and her first birthday. We will celebrate with a cake purchased at the panderia and maybe a pinata. It will be awesome.

    Wow, I can't believe she's already 1. Big girl! You seem to be taking these changes in stride. I'm proud of you! I love the kid's uniforms. So nice not to have to think what they will wear to school! How does Jaren like med school so far?

    Happy Birthday Lola!...it's so sad I don't even know her!
    Looks like you guys are adjusting there.
    I remember going to a party for Noah's law school when we first moved here and did not want to go (I think I was still mad about being here) but ended up loving it. Everyone was in the same boat so it was comforting.
    It looks so sunny and bright there! We are gloomy and frigid! Can't wait for spring!
